Steve Menta is a Portuguese producer and DJ from Lisbon.
In 2008 he released his debut Ep. After that, his release schedule ramped up and Steve started to play his music at several clubs in Lisbon, such as Op Art and Lx Factory, alongside names like Zoo Brazil, Spektre, Khainz, Booka Shade, Oxia, Format B, Tiefschwarz, Kaiserdisco, Dave Clarke, Sébastien Léger, D-Nox & Beckers, Ambivalent, Alan Fitzpatrick, Joseph Capriati, Gaiser, Victor Ruiz, Hobo and Dosem.
Ninety3 Records, marked a new era in his career, and his release, the “Smiling Faces” EP, was supported by artists such as Cassandra Daiva, Colin Sales, Erik Morillo, Kid Massive, Luigi Madonna, Dibby Dougherty, Paco Maroto, Rob Small.
Shortly thereafter, a new EP was released on Arnauld Stengel’s Sweep181, garnering massive support from Cristian Varela, Paco Osuna, Anderson Noise, Alexi Delano, Nick Warren, M.A.N.D.Y, to name just a few.
Steve Menta has also collaborated with several other Portuguese artists, on labels such as Evapour8, PlanoB or Undergroove Music.
Nowadays Steve is presenting his work all over Portugal and abroad, and has a slew of great releases planned, so stay tuned.
